Covalent is an innovative educational technology platform designed to make academic, administrative, and communication processes for schools and institutions smooth. Through a multi-interface solution consisting of a Student Mobile App, Teacher Mobile App, School Web App, and a Super Admin Dashboard, Covalent allows perfect interaction between students, teachers, schools, and administrators.

Apptage collaborated with Covalent to develop a next-generation education management system that enhances operational efficiency and user experience for educational institutions nationwide.

Background

Educational institutions face ongoing challenges, including fragmented communication, inefficient manual processes, and a lack of centralized oversight. This often results in unpleasant experiences for both students and teachers. Covalent was created to solve these problems by providing a digital-first, user-friendly platform that streamlines all key operations, such as attendance tracking, assignment management, performance reporting, and more.

The platform's goal is to empower schools to deliver a more organized, transparent, and accessible learning environment by bringing all stakeholders: students, teachers, and administrators onto a unified platform.

The primary objective of the collaboration between Covalent and Apptage was to:

Challenges

While Covalent had a clear vision of streamlining education management, several challenges needed to be overcome:
